About Me

About Me •

From May to June 2026, I studied abroad at the American University of Rome, where I had the opportunity to explore advertising, public relations, and communication from an international perspective. The program concluded with a week at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, where I attended sessions led by some of the industry's most influential creative leaders and explored award-winning work from around the world.

This experience broadened my perspective on the future of advertising and strengthened my understanding of the evolving creative industry. Learning about emerging technologies, global consumer behavior, strategic thinking, and the growing role of creativity in business challenged me to think beyond traditional approaches and prepared me to bring a more informed, adaptable, and globally minded perspective to future internships and professional opportunities.

Hi, my name is Emily Bruebach! I'm from La Grange, Illinois, and I'm currently studying at Michigan State University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Advertising with minors in Graphic Design and Public Relations. I am set to graduate in May of 2028. On campus, I serve as the Vice President of Community Relations for the Michigan Gamma chapter of Pi Beta Phi and am an active member of Michigan State's chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF).

I'm passionate about creative problem-solving and bringing ideas to life through design, branding, and storytelling. I enjoy creating work that is both visually compelling and strategically driven, and I'm always looking for opportunities to learn, collaborate, and grow as a creative professional.
